For me, no truer words have ever been spoken... my best friend and I have been friends since we were nine years old... a friendship that has spanned 45 years... our friendship has endured longer than my two marriages... so ladies, make sure you find good friends. ; )

A true friend will always tell you the truth, even when its not easy for them to say or hard for you to hear. I would much rather have one honest friend than a dozen liars who call themselves friends - quality is better than quantity, any day!

When Is It "Officially" Morning?

"I don't care if it's 5 A.M. I don't consider it "tomorrow" until I wake up..." I laughed out loud when I read this, because this reminded me of a conversation I had just the other day. My friend called me very early in the morning and asked immediately upon my answering, "Is it too early for me to call?" The first thing that came to mind was, "Anytime that I am still asleep, is too early for anyone to call"... but, if course I responded with, "It's never too early to call, if you need me"... ; )

Medical School

"When I was young I decided to go to medical school. At the entrance exam, we were asked to rearrange the alphabets PNEIS and form the name of an important body part which is most useful when erect. Those who answered SPINE are doctors today, while the rest are on Facebook"... this comes as absolutely no surprise to me... ; )

"Oh, I really do miss Kansas, Toto... and Loverboy, Survivor, Rush, Styx, Journey, Foreigner, but I miss Pink Floyd most of all"... is she crazy? I miss Led Zeppelin most of all! Robert Plant has always been, and always will be, my all-time rocker fave! The Rolling Stones and The Who still tour and, thankfully, so does Def Leppard! That fact makes this mama one happy rocker chick! ; )

The Gym Bar

Someone really should open a bar and name it "The Gym", so that all of us happy hours types would not look like such lushes when we post on Facebook where we've been... in fact, when I go to rehab, I'm going to refer to it as "Club Med"... I mean that is kind of the truth... ;-P
